Pendower House

If you were looking for cottages like Pendower House, how about trying these:

Step back in time and enjoy this gorgeous terraced cottage, which has been lovingly restored and sits along an original cobbled street, where peace and plenty are assured.

The cottage is cosy and warm, with an original (ornamental) Cornish range in the dining-room, a roaring stove in the sitting-room, and is furnished with unique antique furnishings. The kitchen/diner is light and airy and boasts a pantry; there is also a corridor which leads to a modern ground floor bathroom. Outside is a totally private and enclosed terrace; here steps lead up to a raised sitting-area, which captures the morning sun - the best place for a breakfast.

Newlyn is easily reached by public transport - the train station in Penzance is a ten-minute bus journey away and the walk from Penzance to Newlyn, along the promenade, is simply wonderful.

For those bringing the car, a parking permit is provided for the nearby public car park, however you are welcome to pull up outside the cottage upon arrival to unload your luggage. Newlyn is a thriving little town with the best, and most unassuming, ice cream parlour, a fantastic film house, fabulous fish restaurants, a local cheese shop and of course, numerous fishmongers and galleries, making this the ideal destination for a 'proper' holiday.
